Setting up a new Aston Students' Union club or society is very simple. 

 

If you think we need a club or society that we don’t currently have you just need to find 10 interested people who are all willing to join and pay the minimum membership fee of £5 (you can charge more than this if you feel you can justify it). You then need to appoint a president, secretary and treasurer. If you feel your committee needs more people than this that’s fine but you must have those 3. You then need to set up an account with the finance office and pay in your membership fees and also let the SA office know the details of the members of your committee and that’s it! You can then start promoting your new society.

 

*Aston Students' Union reserves the right to refuse to set up a club or society if an Aston Students' Union club or society with same purpose already exists.*
