Guidance for Nominations

Before you submit your nomination, please read through these guidelines carefully.

Nominations will be read by a panel, who will shortlist three nominations for each category.

Nominations are anonymous and judged on quality. They will also be anonymised before the panel reads them, so the panel won't see the name of the person you are nominating; therefore, it is important that you spend some time making your nomination stand out to the panel. Read the category descriptions on the previous page, or head to astonsu.com/academicawards. These outline what the panel will be looking for for each award. Try to match your nomination to the description of the award.

Remember that the panel might not know your nominee or how they teach/work, so use the last box to describe what makes them special in as much detail as possible!
