Welcome to the Aston Canon! Aston’s official student lead magazine. Now I know what you're thinking, magazines, articles, writing this seems like a society for essay writers. That statement is FALSE, I can assure you that our magazine is open to everyone. Whether that means you have absolutely no experience writing articles at all or are an avid writer looking for somewhere to be published YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE AN ESSAY STUDENT TO JOIN US! Everybody is welcome here at the Aston Canon.

We have a diverse and wide range of sections in our magazine including:

• Current affairs
• Opinion pieces
• Entertainment articles
• Sport
• And much more.

 It’s a magazine by students, for students!

We aim to publish the first Friday of every month on our official website 

Socials 

The first Friday of the month is also when we hold our main meetings where new members get to meet the committee and discuss article ideas.  

We also have various social events planned throughout the year! 

Want to join us? 

If you want to become a member of the Aston Canon, be apart of the committee or even just write for us. Please purchase a membership through the SU. Just add the standard  membership to your basket, pay and that’s it! You are now an official member!
