Aston Law Society aims to enhance academic performance, build relationships with other Law Societies, Law Firms, Companies, Aston Societies, and academics whilst enjoying regular social events.

Our aim at Aston Law Society is to give every member, whether you are a law student or not, the best and most enriching opportunity we can whilst you are studying at Aston. The society endeavours to do all it can to make your year enjoyable, with a range of professional and social events, and a chance to become a part of our 'AstonLawSoc' family!

Aston Law Society is a modern, dynamic, and commercially focused society and, throughout the year, we will run a wide variety of professional development events to make students from Aston University stand out in the ever competitive graduate environment. We also aim to provide members with the opportunity to network with professionals from a number of firms, both in the legal and business industries.

Student Activities Executive Committee Elections 2026-2027

This is to elect the Student Activities Executive Committee for the academic year 2025/26. Bye-law 7 states that Student Activities elected committee is a standing committee of Union Council. With that in mind it would be standard practice that the Student Activities Executive Committee must be approved by the Students' Union Council.
