Welcome to our Aston ABACUS society page! 

ABACUS stands for the the Association of British and Chinese University Students however we welcome anyone with an interest in Oriental culture to join!

Our main goal is to unite students of all backgrounds who have an interest in oriental culture and who just love having fun! Through our social activities, we seek to foster new friendships as well as build a tight community that can support one another through studies or the loneliness of moving to university.

Throughout the year we will be planning many fun and socialable acitivites such as:

•  Bubble tea rounds
•  Having meals together e.g. Hotpot, Kbbq, Sushi, Dim Sum etc...
•  Games nights
•  Movie nights where we can watch Chinese dramas, K-dramas, Animes, Romances, Actions, etc...
• Pres/Club nights

and anything else you guys might be interested in :)

We are also working we sponsors so if you join our society you may be able to get discounts at certain places!
