What we eat and how much we eat it also affects our mood. For example, when I have chocolate it makes me happy ?? So here is how disordered eating behaviour can affect your mood:

  • Could lead to low mood or depression, mood swings, anxiety and irritability
  • Low self-esteem and poor body image
  • Increased tiredness and sleep problems
  • Poor concentration and memory (I can relate to this one)
