Update on the recent Emergency Union Council Vote on the Motion for an additional Student Officer 

As you are all aware the SU held an Emergency Union Council meeting on Wednesday, 25th January with a subsequent online vote to determine if the motion would pass and we would have an additional Officer i.e. Vice President Communities (watch the full Emergency Union Council discussion).

Towards the end of the voting period, it became clear that due to a technical issue the voting system was not secure, and we have therefore made the decision to void this current vote and use another system to carry out the vote for a second time. 

Anyone who cast a vote via the MS Team link will be required to vote again.

The voting is planned to go live from Wednesday 1st February at 1:00pm and will close on Friday, 3rd February at 1:00pm. Students can access the voting through a link we will publish on our website and social media.
