When to start looking

In Birmingham, there is plenty of private student accommodation; this means there is a great range for you to choose from. It may seem like a good idea to begin looking as early as October for the next academic year, but this can have its pitfalls!

It's important that you take time to get to know potential flatmates before you decide you want to live with them, as once a tenancy agreement is signed, it's not easy to get out of if you change your mind later in the year.

Aston Student Homes (ASH) advertise properties from the 1^st November each year for the next academic year, and we run an Accommodation Fair around this time too.
